October’s Current TBR / Hopefuls for this month:
1. Hunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton
2. None of this is true by Lisa Jewell
3. A Flicker in the dark by Stacy Willingham
4. Mother-Daughter Murder Night by Nina Simon
I am HOPEFUL that these books will be read this month. Last month I did a great job by reading one book a week! It is such a milestone for me to accomplish that kind of reading. So I am hoping I can do the same for this month!
In addition, I recently received my book haul from Pango! If you do not know what Pango is, you should definitely download the app NOW! It is equivalent to Poshmark and Mercari but books only!! You can save a lot of money by purchasing second hand vs. brand new at a fraction of the price. I am not affiliated by Pango, so I am reviewing my honest opinion!
It is easier to buy from one seller. Depending on the seller, he or she will have an additional discount for making a minimum order! This is my third purchase from Pango and so far so good. I cannot complain. My total amount that I spent was $34.42 on 5 books!! On average, purchasing brand new books will cost about $40-80. To prove my theory, last night, I went to Target and purchased three books. Currently, Target is having a sale this week on their books for 20% additional off on eligible books.
Below are screen shots of my purchases comparing my Pango purchase to Target. As you can see even with the 20% discount from Target, just three brand new books is the same price as I paid on Pango for five books!
Anyways, happy October reading everyone! I hope to hear what you have to say on your hopeful list this month and the most exciting part, your book haul :)
