This is the second book of the Knockemout Series by Lucy Score. This book is about Nash and Lina's love story. The book picks up where it had left off where Nash is recovering from his accident in the first book (I will not spoil anything if you have not read it lol). Nash deal's with loneliness and works through pain on his own, he traumatic experience
Synopsis:
Nash is not himself since the incident occurred. Chief of Police is trying to survive his own demons while maintaining the streets of Knockemout. Right when is on the verge of giving up on his himself and his career, his new neighbor was able to assist his emotions and his love of his life.
Review:
Some say this second book is slow in the beginning and it is too long, however, I love how Nash was able to overcome his fear to find love and to be able to trust. Trust the women he fell in love with, regardless of their differences and was able to trust himself. To believe that he is not his father and that he is the Chief of Police for a reason.
